financial-aid-office2Affording a college education is In its most recent survey of college pricing, the College Board reports that a “moderate” college budget for an in-state public college for the 2012–2013 academic year averaged $22,261. A moderate budget at a private college averaged $43,289 and can reach more than $60,000 at some institutions.

This brochure from the National Association of College Admission Counselors offers seven steps that will make the process of affording higher education a little less stressful and a lot less overwhelming. Just remember to take it one step at a time. Here are the steps:
