Check out your GPA and class rank, which have been updated to reflect first semester grades. If you want better grades or a higher rank, then do something about it: use every minute of study hall and all of your free periods for school work. Meet with your teachers to hear their suggestions to improve your grades.

If you haven’t done so, you must register your account with Family Connection. Yesterday, I emailed instructions to everyone who hasn’t registered. Do this right away! [84% of you have]

Register for the SAT. [Only 12% have]

Take the Game Plan Survey. [Only 15% have so far]

Take the “Do What You Are” survey. After you take this survey you will learn about careers that are matched to you, your personal strengths and blindspots, and possible college majors.

Sign up with PrepMe, the SAT/ACT prep program. Most of you say you are worried about being prepared for the SAT, yet only 5% of you have started this SAT prep program.

Add colleges to your “Colleges I’m Thinking About” list. Use the Researching Colleges on Family Connection handout to help you.

Finally, do you hope to be a recruited college athlete? If so, you must attend the information session next Tuesday, February 26 at 6:30pm in the auditorium.
