Time Magazine’s Moneyland site posted an informative article recently making this important point: “The fact that a college will admit you regardless of your financial need does not mean that they will provide the financial aid needed to
make the college affordable.”  Some colleges go a step further and say they guarantee to meet 100% of demonstrated need, without requiring students or their families to take loans.
