The “AP Arms Race” and the Insanity of the Junior Year

This great article by high school junior Jacob Gersch coins a new term: AP Arms Race. Is it reasonable to expect a high school junior to take 5, 6 or 7 college courses at one time, on top of all of the other obligations heaped onto high school students?
