Don’t worry too much about what to say when declining an offer of admission. Simply keep it short and sweet. Something along the lines of:
Dear Admissions Office:
Thank you for the offer of a place in the Class of 2020. After much deliberation, I have decided not to accept your offer of admission. I will be attending [insert name of your chosen school] in the Fall.

You can send this to the college’s admissions office email address. Log in to Family Connection and go to the college’s profile and click on SEND EMAIL:
As for accepting an offer of admission to the school you have chosen, that’s easy. Typically a school will include specific instructions for accepting an offer an admission. Simply follow the instructions in the letter, including sending in a deposit (usually non-refundable) on or before May 1.
